How OnePlus company Born..

OnePlus 2 - All you need to know about Flagship killer 2016

The OnePlus 2 (also abbreviated as OP2) is a smartphone designed by the Chinese startup OnePlus, founded by former Oppo vice president Pete Lau. It is the successor to the OnePlus One. OnePlus revealed the phone on July 28, 2015 via virtual reality, using Google's Cardboard visor and their own app.

Development

In January 2015, OnePlus announced the smartphone's official name as OnePlus 2  it was also later reported that the OnePlus 2 would have a late 2015 release, possibly due to hardware issues with its processor.
In early April 2015, Co-founder Puh Sei confirmed the OnePlus 2 will not feature wireless charging and NFC. Subsequently, it was confirmed that the device will also feature a fingerprint sensor, which is similar to Apple's Touch ID.

Invite system

OnePlus posted that it will use an invite system to handle sales of the OnePlus 2, exclusively through the company's website. OnePlus claims that the invite system is more efficient than the invite system used for the sales of the OnePlus One, the OnePlus 2's predecessor. According to co-founder Carl Pei, there will be 30 to 50 times more invites from the start to match the greater demand for the OnePlus 2.
Within 72 hours of being launched, the OnePlus 2 had already accumulated over 1 million reservations. Within one week after being launched, the OnePlus 2 had accumulated over 3 million reservations.

One plus two comes along 13 mp camera, Dual LED Flash & Laser auto focus

The rear camera on the OnePlus 2 remains at 13Mp and still has the dual-LED flash. The firm says it has an f/2 aperture, 1.3μm pixels and six lenses to avoid distortion and colour aberration. Other features include optical image stabilisation (OIS), a laser auto focus (under 0.3 second) and 4K video recording.
At the front, there's still a 5Mp camera which is wide-angle to fit as much into a selfie as possible.

Software

The OnePlus 2 comes preloaded with Android 5.1 "Lollipop" with OnePlus' OxygenOS over the top.
The OnePlus 2 runs Oxygen OS, a custom ROM based on Android 5.1. OnePlus hired most of the key members of the Paranoid Android custom ROM team to make Oxygen OS a real product, and by all accounts, they have been hard at work at it. That said, the time was short, the team was new, and the expectations were sky-high, so it remains to be seen just how good Oxygen OS turns out to be.

OnePlus 2 specification and features

As you might know, quite a few specs and features were announced before the OnePlus 2 so we're going to recap on those first, then crack on with the new hardware and features. So, we already knew that the OnePlus 2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (version 2.1), a fingerprint scanner, 4GB of RAM and reversible Type-C USB.

Storage and memory

Although OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 2 will have 4GB of RAM, this is not the case for both models. You'll need to buy the 64GB capacity because the 16GB OnePlus 2 comes with 3GB of RAM instead.

Screen

The display on the OnePlus 2 remains at 5.5in with a Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920). The firm has said it's an IPS panel with a 178 degree viewing angle and a brightness of 600nits which compares to 559nits of the iPhone 6.

Design Stylish Swap back covers

This year Style Swaps are gonna be much much better,” OnePlus said, evading questions about Sandstone Black.

  • The OnePlus 2 64GB will cost $389
  • The OnePlus 2 16GB will cost $329

  • That’s slightly more than the launch price of the One, but arguably, you get more for that money.
As for the OnePlus 2 release date, the OnePlus 2 64GB will be available with an invite from August 11 in the US and EU. The 16GB version will be available “later.”
Yes, you will still need an invite to buy a OnePlus 2, but OnePlus says the process will be a lot less painful this year. The company said it tweaked the way it distributes invites and that it secured a lot more initial inventory, though considering that it grossly underestimated demand last year, we’ll believe it when we see it. Still, let’s give OnePlus the benefit of the doubt, and hopefully the OnePlus 2 will land is as many hands as possible, as fast as possible.
